The Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, on Thursday, inspected the ongoing construction of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Ayetoro in Ijede.
She was accompanied by members of the Legislative Arm, the Council Management Team, and the Executive Team on the inspection tour.
The intervention was aimed at improving access to quality and affordable healthcare services, and bring them closer to residents of Ayetoro and neighboring communities. Upon completion, the facility will feature modern healthcare facilities, including general consultation units, laboratory services, maternal and child healthcare units, pharmacy, and parking spaces.

Speaking at the inspection site, the Council Chairman stressed the importance of the Health Centre and its benefits for residents.
“The project will directly provide a long-term solution to existing healthcare challenges at Aiyetoro community, improve public health infrastructure, and enhance the well-being of residents by bringing quality healthcare closer to their homes”.
